Customer Service Executive (Frontline Retail Services)

Location: Singapore

Compensation: S$2,700-S$4,000/month (dependent on experience) + 13th-month bonus + up to 3 months variable bonus.
5-day work week, inclusive of 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

BullionStar is Singapore's leading precious metals dealer. We sell, buy back, store, and deliver physical gold, silver, and platinum to customers worldwide - from first-time buyers to institutional investors. We operate a full-service showroom in Singapore, a comprehensive e-commerce platform, and vault storage facilities across multiple jurisdictions.

We are independently owned, founder-led, and intentionally lean. There are no layers of corporate bureaucracy here. Decisions are made quickly, everyone is close to the customer, and every person in the business has a direct impact on what we deliver. We've built our reputation on trust, transparency, and doing things properly - not on marketing spend.

BullionStar's showroom is where our brand becomes tangible. Customers walk in to buy their first gold coin, pick up a significant order, sell back bullion, or simply learn. Every interaction in that space shapes how they think about us. This role exists because we need sharp, versatile people on the front line who can do it all - serve customers with confidence, handle precious metals with precision, and contribute to the broader operation with initiative and energy.

This isn't a narrowly defined job. It's a launchpad. You'll develop deep knowledge of the precious metals industry, build real skills across customer service, operations, and commerce, and work alongside experts who've been in this business for years. For the right person - someone curious, diligent, and hungry to grow - it's one of the best foundations you can get.

What You'll Own

  • Be the Face of BullionStar - You'll greet every customer who walks through our doors, understand what they need, guide them through our product range, and complete transactions accurately. Whether someone is buying a single silver coin or picking up a large gold order, you'll handle every interaction with the same care and professionalism. You'll build genuine relationships - the kind that make people come back and recommend us to others.
  • Handle Precious Metals with Care - You'll handle gold, silver, and platinum directly - assisting customers with purchases, receiving items for sell-backs, and testing authenticity for both type of transactions. This is detailed, high-stakes work. A single mistake with a product worth thousands of dollars is a serious matter. You'll develop deep product knowledge and the discipline to get it right every time.
  • Spot Problems and Improve Things - We don't expect you to just follow instructions - we expect you to think. If you notice a process that could be faster, a customer experience that could be better, or a problem that nobody else has flagged, we want to hear about it. Better yet, come with a solution. You'll have the opportunity to get involved in marketing initiatives, our affiliate programme, and customer care improvements. How far you go depends on how much initiative you bring.
  • Thrive on Variety - The work is varied - you'll switch between serving customers at the counter and handling customer support through emails and phone calls throughout the day. That variety is a feature, not a bug. It keeps the role dynamic and gives you a well-rounded understanding of how BullionStar serves its customers.
  • Use AI and Technology to Work Smarter - Whether it's using AI to draft better customer communications, streamline inventory processes, or research market trends, we want someone who sees these tools as an advantage and actively looks for ways to use them.
