Job Summary
Manage and coordinate airfreight, oceanfreight, and trucking shipments to ensure timely clearance, accurate documentation, and effective communication with customers, vendors, and partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate airfreight, oceanfreight, and trucking shipments to ensure efficient and smooth operations
- Collaborate with clearance vendors to expedite fast terminal clearance for shipments
- Verify and declare accurate permits for all shipments to comply with regulations
- Coordinate shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and avoid delays
- Communicate shipment status updates promptly to customers and overseas partners
- Record shipment arrivals and arrange timely delivery and proof of delivery (POD)
- Support cost and selling price accuracy for each shipment job
- Generate accurate and prompt billing invoices for customers
- Monitor vendor service standards and ensure compliance with agreed requirements
- Manage vendor performance to guarantee timely deliveries and quality service
- Respond to requests for quotations (RFQ) and rate inquiries to support sales efforts
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure high-quality customer service
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management
