Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing shipment bookings, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to customers inquiries and handle shipment bookings professionally and promptly.
  • Arrange space bookings and closely monitor shipment status to ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate with Import/Export departments for smooth job processing and documentation flow.
  • Prepare and send out pre-alerts to respective stations ahead of shipment arrivals and departures.
  • Check arrival and uplift details daily and update customers accordingly.
  • Ensure customer-specific requests and handling instructions are correctly followed and executed.
  • Communicate and coordinate with relevant internal and external parties using diplomacy and effective negotiation skills.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system and proper documentation housekeeping.
  • Build and strengthen strong working relationships with both internal teams and external customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding or logistics customer service.
  • GCE O Level or higher educational qualifications.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Committed, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure and multitask effectively.
