Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling enquiries related to vessel operations, shipments, and documentation.
  2. Coordinate closely with operations, port agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of maritime services.
  3. Manage end-to-end customer orders including booking, documentation, and follow-up on shipment status.
  4. Prepare and verify shipping documents such as invoices, delivery orders, and bills of lading.
  5. Track vessel schedules and update customers on delays, changes, or operational issues.
  6. Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  7. Ensure accurate data entry into internal systems and maintain proper documentation records.
  8. Liaise with finance team on billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups when required.
  9. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements

  1. Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies,Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in customer service within shipping, logistics, or maritime industry.
  3. Familiarity with shipping documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, manifests) and vessel operations preferred.
  4. Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with shipping or ERP systems is an advantage.
