Job Description:

We are seeking a capable and driven professional to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant Manager / Manager. The successful candidate will oversee customer service operations, ensure smooth coordination of shipments, and support the team in delivering excellent service to customers. The appointment level will depend on the candidate's experience and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily customer service operations and ensure timely shipment execution.
  • Manage customer inquiries, service issues, and operational escalations.
  • Lead and guide the customer service team to achieve service KPIs and high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with import/export operations and liaise with overseas offices or agents.
  • Support Sales with client engagement, pricing, and business development initiatives.
  • Investigate service issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
  • Prepare service performance reports and assist with ad-hoc management requests.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of customer service experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding and shipping operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in approach.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage urgent or time-sensitive shipments.
  • Title and salary will be commensurate with experience.
