As they are expanding their activities in Asia, they are looking for a Customer Sales Representative M/F based in Singapore to support their intensive growth.
The role:
The CSS Representative will play a pivotal role in driving business development across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, working closely with the Business Development Manager and Account Managers.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment and growth of the groups presence and brand in Singapore. With a primary focus on customer service, the role calls for a versatile and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is eager to take on a broad range of responsibilities during the early stages of expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Partners with Account Managers to craft and deliver compelling, accurate sales proposals
- Handles inbound customer inquiries with efficiency, ensuring seamless entry into the sales system
- Delivers tailored product quotations backed by strong technical understanding
- Assists in onboarding new customer accounts and supports collections in coordination with Accounts Receivable
- Collaborates closely with Account Managers and Service Center leadership to maintain up-to-date account activity and documentation
- Proactively monitors delivery timelines and expedites orders to meet customer expectations
- Manages customer-specific inventory to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment
- Initiates outbound outreach to prospective and existing clients to uncover new opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Builds and nurtures trusted relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders
- Provides expert technical and service support to account management, service center operations, and customers
- Champions a culture of safety by consistently adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Gratuated in business, logistics, or industrial engineering, you have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Possesses excellent customer service skills
- Must have resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure
- Must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, internet and email
- Must be able to successfully utilize the company software
