Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative where your expertise will enhance customer satisfaction and drive operational excellence. This role offers a chance to seamlessly manage customer inquiries and contribute to the growth of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and orders, ensuring effective day-to-day coordination. Maintain accurate records of customer accounts within the system. Deliver professional customer service to clients, agents, and distributors within the designated area. Support team members as needed to ensure consistent operations. Collaborate with various stakeholders to extract historical sales data and prepare quotations. Coordinate with customers and distributors on Purchase Orders and Sales Order confirmations, managing delivery timelines effectively. Process customer orders and carry out regular follow-ups to ensure timely fulfillment. Monitor order and shipment status by coordinating with production, planning, and logistics teams, providing timely updates to customers in case of delays. Address customer complaints with appropriate solutions and ensure follow-through on resolutions. Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance satisfaction. Foster strong customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up. Maintain thorough records of customer interactions and transactions. Manage sales-related documentation, including corrective action reports and customer satisfaction surveys. Assist in training new or temporary staff as needed. Provide general sales administration support when required and assist with ad-hoc tasks to achieve team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, or Applied Chemistry. 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, customer service, or administration. Excellent communication skills with strong phone handling abilities and active listening. Customer-oriented mindset with adaptability to diverse cultural interactions. Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. A self-driven individual who also thrives as a team player. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Willingness to work in Jurong Island with company transport provided.
