Plan cross passage construction sequence, prepare method statements, and coordinate with consultants, authorities (e.g. LTA), and subcontractors.
Oversee daily excavation (e.g. NATM), temporary support, and structural works to ensure execution follows approved designs.
Monitor schedules, manpower, and equipment track progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices in tunnelling operations.
Ensure all works meet design specifications and Singapore standards (e.g. LTA/BCA), including inspections and documentation.
Manage subcontractors, liaise with clients, and prepare reports, technical submissions, and project documentation.
Oversees the construction of connecting tunnels between main TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) running tunnels, typically used for emergency egress in railway or road infrastructure.
Any other duties assigned by superior.
Requirements:
Min 10 years of relevant working experience in mining and SCL works.
Preferably with a Diploma in Civil Engineering and above or equivalent.
