[HIDDEN TEXT]Key responsibilities
- You will carry out independent financial analysis and recommend the appropriate limits and mitigation measures that can be put in to his/her superior(s).
- You will need to prepare risk advisories regularly and this will be circulated across the organization to sensitize trading team on various risk issues.
- You will evaluate business proposals received from global business and country teams, understand the proposed business model and limits rationale, perform necessary due-diligence, evaluate credit reports from independent agencies (BVD, Moody's, etc.),
- You will review the annual budgeting exercise where the credit team will review and approves limits for the company's profit centres.
- You will need to understand the latest economic, political and market events to appropriately calibrate review decisions in response to externalities. Timely analysis and circulation of weekly / monthly credit & counterparty risk dashboards for specific products assigned is essential.
- You will work closely with other departments such as Legal, IT, Finance and Compliance for effective execution of the role.
- You need to present the Enterprise Risk Scorecard, Risk Dashboards, Risk Appetite Framework, etc. To engage closely with Country Teams which have profit centres that require regular review due to high concentration of risk.
Role requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering etc.
- At Least 7 -12+ years relevant experience in risk and/or finance control related fields
- Possess strong analytical skills and proven knowledge in commodities products and markets
- Great team player with good written and verbal communication skills
- Should be able to communicate and interface with all levels of the organization and external agencies / contacts including statutory bodies
