About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst Specialist to join our Traded Credit Risk Methods (TCRM) team. This role reports directly to the team head and plays a key part in ensuring robust measurement and reporting of counterparty credit risk across investment, private, and consumer banking businesses. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales & Trading, Credit, Finance, Legal, Technology, and Operations to support accurate and timely risk assessments that drive sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct User-Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes related to exposure quantification methodologies.
- Compute haircuts and initial margins for a variety of traded products.
- Perform reporting, investigation, and analysis on methodology deficiencies, exposure profile changes, and model performance.
- Develop and enhance Business Intelligence tools for credit exposure measurement and reporting.
- Drive process improvements and automation using tools such as Excel, VBA, Bloomberg, Qlik, etc.
- Prepare reports and presentations on internal credit exposure and related topics for stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
- Prior experience in traded products and/or counterparty credit risk
- Excellent understanding of financial markets and derivative products.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Proficiency in data analysis and programming tools such as VBA, Python, R, C#, Qlik, or Tableau.
