Overview Of Division/Department

The Singapore Corporate Banking team is responsible for the promotion of the Bank's extensive range of products to non-Japanese corporates. This includes products ranging from FX and Derivatives, Loans, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Advisory Services to Structured Finance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support origination and execution of deals for Non-Japanese clients headquartered in SG under Singapore Corporate Banking Department.
  • Prepare credit applications which would include conducting financial analysis and modelling for client companies, industry analysis as well as analyzing relevant risks and mitigants for the transaction.
  • Maintain regular engagement with credit approving department and addressing any credit concerns on the client.
  • Oversee the entire loan documentation stage including negotiating and liaising with internal/external legal counsels.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams (Legal, Compliance, Middle office, AMLD etc) to ensure smooth implementation of credit facilities and loan drawdown.
  • Credit monitoring (including financial performance, news, covenants) and reporting of our clients.
  • Provide advice on credit-related matters to RMs.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 1-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with interpretation and analysis of financial statements.
  • Experience with preparation of credit applications, proposals.
  • Documentation experience for loans.
