Credit Analysis, Assistant Manager - Corporate Banking

We are partnering an established international bank to hire an Assistant Manager to join its Credit Analysis team in Singapore.

The Role

The role sits within a standalone credit analysis function, working closely with Corporate Banking and Credit Risk teams. It focuses on independent credit assessment and analysis, without credit approval responsibilities. Key responsibilities as follows:

• Analyse financial statements, cash flows and creditworthiness of corporate borrowers.
• Prepare financial models, projections and credit assessment reports to support credit decisions.
• Conduct industry and sector analysis across corporate and financial institution clients.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Risk stakeholders on credit assessments and financial forecasts.
• Provide objective credit analysis to support sound lending decisions.

Requirements

• 5–7 years relevant credit analysis experience within banking.
• Strong financial statement analysis, accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills.
• Experience covering Middle Market, Financial Institutions or General Corporate clients preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin, required for regular communication with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or related discipline.
