Job Description

As a core member of the Southeast Asia Creator Operations team, you will be responsible for building and nurturing the localized content ecosystem across key Southeast Asia markets (including Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, etc.). By identifying and collaborating with top local creators and implementing deeply culturally resonant localization strategies, you will drive the rapid growth and penetration of Bilibili in the Southeast Asia market and build a vibrant, sustainable creator and community ecosystem for the platform in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Discover, recruit, onboard, sign contracts with, and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with local creators in key Southeast Asia markets, build a multi-category, high-quality local creator network, and drive creators content output and platform growth on Bilibili.
  2. Lead the comprehensive localization adaptation of the platform's product content, marketing campaigns, community guidelines, and interactive rules for Southeast Asia markets, including multi-language translation, cultural customization, and scenario-based optimization, to fully align with local user preferences and cultural norms.
  3. Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the social media ecosystems, content trends, hot topics, and user behavior characteristics of different Southeast Asia markets, and develop and execute targeted localized content operation and user growth strategies for each market.
  4. Monitor and track core operational metrics (including creator scale, content output, user engagement, platform penetration, etc.) of the Southeast Asia region, regularly output market insight reports and strategic optimization recommendations, and continuously improve operational efficiency and results through data-driven methods.
  5. Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (product, marketing, technical, customer service, etc.) to solve the operational pain points of local creators and users, optimize the creator service system and user experience, and enhance the stickiness of creators and users to the platform.
  6. Organize and execute localized creator incentive activities and community interaction events, activate the creator community atmosphere, and promote the positive interaction and mutual growth between creators and users on the platform.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Language and Culture, Digital Media, or related fields.
  2. Proficiency in English and at least one Southeast Asian local language (Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Malay, Vietnamese, Filipino, etc.), with excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills; fluent in Mandarin is a strong plus. Mastery of multi-language reading and writing is required for relevant market localization work.
  3. In-depth and systematic understanding of the mainstream social media platforms, content ecosystems, and creator communities in Southeast Asia's key markets, familiar with local internet culture, entertainment trends, youth consumption preferences, and cultural taboos; existing resources and connections with local creators, MCN institutions or industry partners are highly preferred.
  4. At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in creator operation, content operation, or cross-border digital platform operation (experience in the Southeast Asia market is a must); with proven experience in building creator teams or driving user growth is a strong plus.
  5. Strong logical thinking ability, data analysis ability, and resource integration ability, able to independently formulate and execute operational strategies, and have the ability to solve complex problems in cross-cultural operation scenarios.
  6. High sense of work responsibility, strong execution ability, and cross-team collaboration ability, with genuine enthusiasm for content ecosystem construction and creator community operation; able to adapt to the characteristics of multi-market operation in Southeast Asia and have the willingness to travel across regions when needed.
  7. Familiar with the operation logic of video content platforms, and understanding of the Danmaku interactive culture is a plus; with a keen sense of content trends and the ability to capture hot topics on time.
