We are looking for a passionate individual to create fun and entertaining content that engages with young audiences as part of a digital content brand.
Scope of the role
To conceptualise, develop and produce compelling original digital content to drive growth of You Got Watch digital brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling original digital content that aligns thematically with the content brands
- Work with internal creative team, external production freelancers to ensure successful development, execution, and delivery of content.
- Basic knowledge to handle videographer, lighting, and sound
- Knowledge of digital video editing including video effects, soundtrack editing, audio graphic equalization, vision mixing for post-production
- Create photo galleries, memes, GIFs from photographs and videos
- Familiar with various files formats and conversions. Manage tapeless media files on storage device.
- Must have knowledge of Adobe creative suite, After Effects, Photoshop, video encoding, compression etc.
- Have good initiative and able to suggest alternative production techniques to optimize equipment usage
- Must be creative, technically inclined, and able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Functional Competencies
- An understanding of what drives web content, social media and how it should be presented
- Wide interest and knowledge of local young adult audiences preferences and digital/social media trends
- Good Organizational and time management skills
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Mass Communication/Visual Communication or any related discipline
- At least 2 to 3 years experience
- Proven track record as a creative storyteller. Strong familiarity and/or proficiency in photography, video production and illustration
- Experience working with different formats of content, ranging from video, infographics to feature stories of different beats
- Experience in creating both bite-sized and longer-form content for a digital market is a plus
- Strong industry network an advantage
