As a Creative Manager in the Creative Department, you serve as the vital link between creative teams and other departments. Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you ensure that projects are properly scheduled, resourced, and coordinated in a fast-paced design-and-build environment.
Your role balances creative understanding with strong organisational and project management skills, ensuring design work progresses smoothly from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities
Team & Resource Management
. Assist the Creative Director in managing the creative team and ongoing projects.
. Coordinate schedules and workloads to ensure efficient use of team resources.
. Support prioritisation of projects based on timelines and business needs.
Project Coordination
. Act as the primary point of contact between creative teams and cross-functional departments.
. Collaborate with project managers, production teams, clients, and stakeholders to define project
requirements, goals, and timelines.
. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and design schedules.
Reporting & Documentation
. Prepare and present regular project status updates.
. Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design briefs, specifications, and reports.
. Ensure design activities align with agreed timelines and budgets.
Requirements
Experience & Background
. Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Design, Event Design, or a related field.
. Minimum 4 years of management experience in commercial spatial design or a related industry.
Skills & Tools
. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.
. Strong project management capabilities, including timeline and budget management.
. Knowledge of Monday.com is a plus.
Soft Skills
. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
. Effective communication and coordination abilities.
. Ability to balance creative thinking with practical and operational considerations.
. Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
