Has experience working as a kitchen assistant in school environment is preferred and advantageous.

Job Scope:
Maintain cleanliness of Craft & Technology special rooms i.e. D&T workshops, Design & Art studios and Kitchen Labs
Conduct scheduled thorough cleaning and organisation of Craft & Technology special rooms i.e. D&T workshops, Design & Art studios, and Kitchen Labs termly.
Assist the Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) unit with daily preparation tasks to ensure smooth delivery of lessons.
Work with NFS teachers to prepare the required portions of food ingredients and necessary crockery/equipment needed to carry out the practical/investigative sessions
Monitor stock of food ingredients and alert the NFS teachers to replenish stock when required in preparation of the practical/investigative sessions
Maintain a high level of hygiene standards in the kitchen labs and during food preparation
Support the Staff Engagement Committee in the preparation of light meals, light desserts, snacks, and packing of staff welfare items.
Maintain inventory of food ingredients and ensure they are organised and properly stored.
Ensure the overall cleaning of the sinks/stoves and overall cleaning and disinfecting of the kitchen labs at the end of the last lesson daily
Ensure safety compliance within the Kitchen labs and the operating of basic kitchen equipment at all times
Carry out the washing of aprons, school table cloth etc when required.
Carry out any other duties assigned by School Management.
