About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Services Sales Lead to drive cloud business growth. This role requires a strategic leader who can design and execute go-to-market strategies, engage with enterprise and mid-market customers, and build strong relationships with C-level executives and partners.
The ideal candidate will bring deep cloud expertise, proven sales leadership, and a strong network with a track record of consistently achieving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales activities in the designated country, including account management, prospect profiling, and full sales cycle execution.
- Develop and execute country-level sales plans in alignment with regional business objectives.
- Identify and engage enterprise and mid-market customers, positioning cloud solutions to meet their transformation needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the partner ecosystem (Google Cloud and other OEM partners).
- Collaborate with client managers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders for account planning and go-to-market strategies.
- Drive pipeline development, sales forecasting, and deal execution to achieve revenue targets.
- Serve as the primary customer contact during bid submission, PoCs, legal reviews, and procurement.
- Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and IT leaders.
- Build country forecasts and budgets, identify regional growth accelerators, and support team hiring and training where needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, cloud solutions, or technology sales leadership.
- Proven track record of achieving cloud sales targets and managing high-value enterprise accounts.
- Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms and solutions (multi-cloud/hybrid cloud experience preferred).
- Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or consulting firms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Digital Leader, Sales Credential, AWS, or Azure equivalent).
- Understanding of industry verticals such as financial services, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, or automotive.
