We are recruiting on behalf of our client, LondonDE Group, an international luxury jewellery company specialising in thedesign, sourcing, distribution and retail of premium jewellery collections.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, thecompany is expanding its presence across the Asia-Pacific region, withSingapore serving as a regional base for commercial operations, marketdevelopment and future expansion.
The Role
The Country Director will be responsible forestablishing, leading and developing the company's Singapore operations whiledelivering its commercial, operational and strategic objectives across Singapore and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the role will provide senior leadership across business operations, commercial development, financial performance, corporate governance, sales andregional expansion. The position will carry overall accountability for theperformance and development of the Singapore business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management and strategic direction of the Singapore operations.
- Develop and execute Singapore and APAC business and commercial growth strategies.
- Establish business plans, operational procedures and governance frameworks to support sustainable growth.
- Hold overall accountability for the Singapore business unit P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, expenditure and profitability.
- Lead regional sales, business development and strategic partnership activities.
- Identify new market opportunities, commercial partnerships and revenue streams.
- Lead major commercial negotiations and executive-level client engagements.
- Develop strategic relationships with luxury retailers, distributors, commercial partners and key stakeholders.
- Oversee day-to-day business functions including Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Sales Administration and Business Support.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Singapore corporate, employment, regulatory and governance requirements.
- Oversee regional sales performance, pipeline forecasting, key accounts and commercial opportunities.
- Support the development of regional distribution networks and retail partnerships.
- Lead regional market development and expansion initiatives across APAC.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, networking functions and executive meetings.
- Provide regular business reporting, financial updates and strategic recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership.
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
. Significant seniormanagement or leadership experience within a commercial, sales, businessdevelopment or operational environment.
- Proven experience leading business operations with responsibility for commercial and financial performance.
- Strong experience developing and executing business growth and market development strategies.
- Demonstrated experience working across international or regional markets, including exposure to Asia-Pacific.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, revenue performance and P&L.
- Strong commercial background with experience in business development, strategic partnerships and complex negotiations.
- Experience managing senior client, partner and stakeholder relationships across multiple markets.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee cross-functional business activities, including sales, operations, finance and people.
- Experience supporting new-market entry, regional expansion or the development of new business operations.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance and operational management.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
