Costing & Inventory Executive

To ensure accurate product costing, inventory control, and financial reporting by supporting manufacturing operations with timely analysis, standard cost management, and collaboration across Production, R&D, and Operations.

Inventory Management

• Ensure accurate records of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods inventory.

• Monitor stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches.

• Perform inventory reconciliation between physical stock and ERP records.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Monitor inventory ageing and stock turnover

  Stock Control and Cycle Counts

• Coordinate monthly inventory cycle counts and annual stocktakes.

• Verify stock adjustments and inventory variances.

• Ensure proper documentation for inventory transactions.

• Maintain inventory valuation records

  Product Costing and Cost Analysis

• Prepare and maintain product costing and bill of materials (BOM).

• Analyse production costs including raw materials, labour, and overheads.

• Review cost variances between standard cost and actual cost.

• Support management in cost control and profitability analysis.

  ERP / System Management

• Maintain accurate inventory and costing data in ERP systems

• Ensure proper recording of inventory transactions, production consumption, and output.

• Assist in generating inventory and costing reports for management.

  Financial Reporting Support

• Support the finance team in month-end closing procedures relating to inventory and cost of goods sold.

• Assist in preparation of inventory valuation reports.

• Provide data for audit and financial reporting purposes.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and cost tracking processes.

• Support implementation of warehouse systems such as barcoding or inventory management systems.

• Assist in improving cost control procedures and operational efficiency.
