Job Description:
- Own the management and monitoring of R&D costs across Opex, Capex, and Headcount, and play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting cycles that guide how Shopee and Monee invest in R&D.
- Deliver management reports and analysis to the executive team to support critical business decisions, uncovering key cost drivers and translating data into clear insights on cost performance.
- Perform cost allocation and in-depth analysis that reflects actual resource usage and business needs, giving leadership an accurate, transparent view of where spending goes.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization to gather and validate data, resolve issues, and enable business changes as the company evolves.
- Champion continuous improvement of reporting and cost management processes, raising the bar on efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above with a major in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics would be preferable
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sense of complex data and spot issues early.
- Able to use AI tools effectively to enhance work efficiency, with the curiosity to explore smarter ways of working.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
