Our client is a leading manufacturing company in precision engineering industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Cost Analyst to be part of their FP&A Team. They are located in the West - easily accessible.
Duties of Cost Analyst:
- Perform monthly actual vs. standard cost variance analysis.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes.
- Monitor production cost trends and manufacturing/inventory KPIs.
- Identify key cost drivers and risks impacting gross profit.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and proper cost flow through COGS.
- Manage manufacturing variances and support regular standard cost reviews.
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting field
- Min 3 years of costing analysis experience in manufacturing industry
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
