Cost Accountant (Manufacturing)

• Permanent position, Salary up to $5,500

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cost analysis and identify opportunities to enhance profit margins across business units

• Review and analyze monthly variances between actual, standard, and budgeted costs

• Monitor costing issues and provide accurate variance explanations with actionable recommendations

• Prepare periodic management reports highlighting product costing, profitability, and key cost drivers

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including preparation of group-level reporting packs

• Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and financial forecasting activities

• Work closely with business stakeholders and finance teams to ensure smooth reporting and information flow

• Support ad hoc assignments and special projects as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a relevant professional accounting qualification

• Minimum of 3 years experience in cost accounting, ideally within a manufacturing environment

• Strong proficiency in SAP is highly preferred

• Solid knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
