Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Secretarial Executive to support the delivery of corporate secretarial services to a portfolio of clients. The role involves ensuring compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements, maintaining corporate records, and supporting board and shareholder matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties for a portfolio of clients (private limited companies, etc.)
- Prepare and file statutory documents with ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority)
- Maintain and update statutory registers and company records
- Draft board resolutions, shareholders resolutions, and minutes of meetings
- Assist in incorporation of new companies, striking off, and other corporate exercises
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act (Singapore) and relevant regulations
- Monitor filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions (e.g. annual returns)
- Liaise with clients, auditors, and government authorities where required
- Support KYC (Know-Your-Client) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance processes
- Provide administrative support related to corporate secretarial work
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience (for junior roles more for senior positions)
- Familiarity with Singapore corporate secretarial practices and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of ACRA BizFile+ system is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) would be an advantage to support communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. (Optional)
