Key Responsibilities
- Possess a good understanding of corporate sales travel, business meetings & events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and global corporate clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow meetings, events and corporate travel business from existing and new clients.
- Identify opportunities prepare customised proposals and present solutions that meet client objectives and budgets.
- Provide excellent customer service & development of long-term relationships with current & prospective clients
- Transfer of corporate sales travel, meetings & events knowledge / methods and human resource development within the organization
- Manage end-to-end event and travel operations coordination, including vendor-sourcing, negotiation, and contracting.
- Monitor project profitability, track sales metrics and report on performance.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the company from time to time
Requirements & Qualifications
- Candidate with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in corporate sales travel and/or meetings or events field
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Japanese language skills would be an advantage to liaise closely with Japan counterparts.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Highly self-motivated with sales result driven approach
- Results-driven, self-motivated, able to work independently and manage pressure.
- Customer service oriented, excellent presentation & negotiation skills
