Our client is a well‑established multinational organisation with a strong Asia‑Pacific presence and a sophisticated in‑house legal function.
They are hiring a Regional Corporate Paralegal to support legal work across the APEC region (ex‑China). This role sits within a regional legal team and works closely with senior legal leadership in a highly collaborative, cross‑border environment.
This position provides day‑to‑day legal support with a primary focus on employment and labour matters, alongside selected exposure to corporate and commercial work. The successful candidate will partner closely with in‑house counsel and external advisors across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining employment‑related documentation (contracts, disciplinary and separation documents)
- Supporting regional employment and labour law matters, including legal research and responding to routine queries
- Assisting with employment policies, guidance notes, templates and precedent management
- Providing general legal support on selected corporate and commercial agreements
- Coordinating with external counsel and managing document execution and internal approvals
- Maintaining legal databases, templates, and knowledge repositories
Ideal Background:
- Experienced paralegal / legal manager with regional exposure, or
- Junior lawyer from a transactional or corporate practice open to an in‑house support role
- Experience in a multinational or cross‑border environment preferred
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
- Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders across different jurisdictions
