Job Responsibilities
Provide legal support to the Legal Department, including legal research, drafting briefs and memos, review of documents and letters, etc.
Review and negotiate simple contracts, e.g. lease renewals, NDAs, contractor service contracts, etc.
Provide company secretarial and administrative functions, including drafting and filing directors and shareholders resolutions, records, meeting minutes, and liaising with externals on all corporate secretarial and compliance matters.
Ensure proper maintenance of legal documents, administrative records, and updates of registers.
Management of the IP portfolios.
Operate and maintain the legal library and IP databases.
Documenting, filing, and safekeeping of legal documents, including IP certificates and contracts.
Assist in editing and proofreading contracts, correspondence, and letters.
Handling invoices and billings for the Legal Department.
Any other ad-hoc legal/ secretarial/ administrative duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
Able to start immediately or within a short notice period
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Team player with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
Will be required to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts
