The Corporate Finance Strategy & Planning Manager supports senior leadership in driving financial strategy, business planning, and performance management. This role partners closely with business units to provide strategic financial insights, lead planning and forecasting activities, and support corporate initiatives such as investments, transformation programs, and long-term growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic decisions, investments, and new initiatives.
- Partner with business and functional leaders to provide strategic financial insights, challenge assumptions, and improve decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against plans, identify key drivers and risks, and provide clear, actionable analysis to management.
- Support corporate strategy initiatives, including M&A evaluations, cost optimisation, capital allocation, and transformation projects.
- Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and executive-level materials.
- Drive improvements in financial planning processes, tools, and governance to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure alignment with corporate policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders where applicable.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (CPA, CFA, MBA is an advantage).
- Typically 7-10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), strategy, consulting, or investment-related roles.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in a multinational or matrix organisation is preferred.
