Job Description
We are partnering with a leading organisation to identify a high-calibre Corporate Development / Strategic Investments professional to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work closely with senior leadership and take ownership across the full investment lifecycle - from identifying opportunities through to execution and post-investment value creation.
What you'll be doing:
- Strategic Growth & Corporate Development
Identify and assess growth opportunities across M&A, partnerships, joint ventures, new markets and adjacent business areas, while conducting market, industry and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and investment themes.
- Investment Evaluation & Execution
Lead financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis, coordinate commercial, financial and operational due diligence, and prepare investment papers and Board-level presentations. Support transaction structuring, negotiations, execution and post-investment monitoring.
- Post-Investment & Capital Allocation
Monitor strategic investments and business holdings, while supporting capital allocation decisions, investment reviews and long-term portfolio strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with senior management, finance, legal and business teams, while building relationships with external advisors, financial institutions, investment partners and target companies.
- Strategic Projects
Take on high-impact projects spanning growth strategy, partnerships, investments, business expansion, sector mapping and corporate planning.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline
- 6+ years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting or Deal Advisory
- Proven experience evaluating investments, acquisitions, strategic partnerships or new business opportunities
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution capabilities
- Experience supporting or managing due diligence processes
- CFA, CAIA, MBA or other relevant qualifications will be advantageous
- Exposure to real estate, infrastructure, construction, industrials, logistics or the broader built environment is a plus
