Corporate Compliance & Investigations Officer

I'm partnering with a PE-backed European B2B organisation to hire a Corporate Compliance & Investigations Officer.

This is a newly created role with global exposure, focused on internal corporate compliance, ethics, employee conduct and whistleblowing matters.

The Role

You will support the assessment, investigation and resolution of internal compliance concerns across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with Legal, HR and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assess and investigate internal compliance concerns, employee complaints and whistleblowing cases
• Support employee conduct and ethics-related investigations
• Handle case documentation, fact-finding, escalation and resolution
• Partner with Legal, HR and business stakeholders across different markets
• Exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive matters
• Support the development of a newly created corporate compliance function

Your Profile

• Estimated 5–8 years relevant experience in corporate investigations, ethics, integrity, whistleblowing, employee conduct or internal compliance
• Legal qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
• Internal audit candidates with strong investigations exposure may be considered
• Strong investigation, documentation and stakeholder management skills
• Able to handle confidential matters with maturity, discretion and objectivity
• Banking compliance candidates should have direct internal investigations experience; AML / KYC or regulatory compliance alone would not be sufficient
