Job Description

Job Description:

  • Develop and execute communications plans to build and safeguard Shopee's reputation in Singapore, with clear alignment to business priorities
  • Adapt and localise regional narratives, campaigns, and messaging frameworks
  • Draft and refine high-quality communications materials, including press releases, media responses, key messages, FAQs, and executive talking points
  • Ensure communications outputs are accurate, clear, and aligned with brand positioning and regulatory considerations
  • Support media engagement efforts by maintaining working relationships with key journalists and responding to media queries in a timely and structured manner
  • Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and industry developments to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for proactive storytelling
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, commercial, and regional teams to ensure messaging consistency and executional alignment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Journalism, preferably within tech, e-commerce, or logistics sectors
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex operational details into clear external messaging
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams and levels
    Good to have:
  • Experience in media relations and handling sensitive or high-risk communications
  • Interest in digital platforms, e-commerce, and operational storytelling
