We are seeking an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Singapore-based and regional corporate clients. The role focuses on deepening existing relationships, originating new business opportunities, and delivering a full suite of corporate banking solutions including loans, trade finance, and syndicated financing. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across the region to support cross-border business activities and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of local and regional corporate clients, maintaining strong and long-term client relationships.
- Identify, originate, and execute new business opportunities to grow wallet share and broaden client engagement.
- Develop tailored financing solutions across corporate lending, trade finance, working capital facilities, and syndicated loan transactions.
- Lead end-to-end client coverage activities, including business development, account planning, deal structuring, and transaction execution.
- Conduct financial and credit analysis, prepare credit proposals, and present recommendations for credit approval.
- Perform periodic credit reviews and monitor the overall risk profile of client portfolios.
- Coordinate with internal product partners and overseas stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions and cross-border opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and credit governance standards.
- Achieve business, revenue, and portfolio growth targets set by the bank.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accountancy, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5-7 years of corporate banking relationship management experience with a proven track record in client coverage and business origination.
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking products including bilateral loans, trade finance, cash management, and syndicated financing.
- Solid credit analysis and financial statement assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate and manage credit risk effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage senior corporate stakeholders.
- Mandarin proficiency is advantageous due to frequent interactions with Chinese-speaking clients and regional stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
