Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President/Director of NBFI Cash Management Sales to join our corporate bank team. This role provides expert advisory services to Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs), including insurance companies, asset managers, alternative investment firms, funds, and market infrastructure providers on liquidity management, payments, and treasury solutions. The position requires a strategic sales professional who can develop and execute comprehensive cash management strategies for sophisticated institutional clients.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales targets and business development goals through effective account planning, relationship building, and sophisticated selling strategies

  • Manage and grow a complex portfolio of existing and prospective NBFI clients across insurance companies, asset managers, alternative investments, funds, and market infrastructure providers

  • Develop and execute comprehensive client action plans for key accounts, conducting market intelligence and industry research

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities while ensuring high client satisfaction levels

  • Act as primary point of contact for key NBFI clients, understanding their unique business needs and treasury objectives

  • Engage clients at senior and strategic levels to provide integrated treasury solutions within a consultative framework

  • Create strategic conversations around client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, benchmarking, opportunity quantification, and solution positioning

  • Understand unique challenges across different NBFI segments and provide tailored solutions

  • Promote and sell treasury services including domestic & international payments, foreign exchange solutions, liquidity management, working capital financing, and connectivity solutions

  • Structure complex cash management solutions for sophisticated institutional clients with specific focus on alternative investments and insurance sectors

  • Assist in identifying and developing contemporary cash management products aligned with market trends and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate closely with Coverage, Product, Client Services, Implementation teams, and global stakeholders to execute sales strategy

  • Work with different departments to promote transaction banking services and identify opportunities across the bank's product suite

  • Partner with regional teams on RFP participation and complex deal structuring

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in transaction banking, cash management, or treasury sales, specifically with NBFI clients

  • Proven track record in managing complex transaction banking solutions for insurance companies, asset managers, alternative investments, and funds

  • Deep understanding of treasury management, payment solutions, liquidity products, and cash management systems

  • Comprehensive knowledge of APAC/regional transaction banking landscape and NBFI sector dynamics

  • Strong grasp of regulatory frameworks affecting NBFIs, including insurance regulations, fund management rules, and market infrastructure requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop relationships, win new business, and close complex deals

  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in financial modelling, benchmarking, and performance analysis

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
