The Mars Snacking AMEA (Asia, Middle East & Africa) Corporate Affairs team is looking for a passionate and driven Corporate Affairs Executive based in Singapore for a 12-month contract role.
The individual will be part of the regional AMEA team, and be primarily responsible for:
Supporting the regional communications strategy for Mars Snacking AMEA
Supporting CSR and philanthropic activities in Singapore
Coordinating regional planning and reporting
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing
Executing the regional communications strategy
Content Development: Develop compelling and engaging content for internal and external audiences leveraging on the company narrative and business priorities. Deliverables may include e-mailers, videos, newsletters, intranet articles, presentation decks, posters, and LinkedIn posts, among others
Event Management: Organize and manage internal events such as townhalls, leadership summits and activities around milestone days e.g. International Women's Day, World Food Day, World Chocolate Day etc, and amplifying content externally as appropriate
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with regional functional teams providing communications support as needed e.g. Global Townhalls; Functional Campaigns, etc
Supporting CSR and philanthropic activities in Singapore
Program Execution: Plan and implement CSR and social impact programs in Singapore in line with our philanthropic commitments e.g. volunteer activities and feeding programs
Community Engagement: Engage local partners and associates to maximize participation and impact
Coordinating regional planning and reporting
Content Coordination: Maintain and update the intranet by publishing regular stories from local teams
Impact Tracking: Track and consolidate CSR and philanthropic impact e.g. metrics around feeding programs
Reporting: Monitor and consolidate impact of AMEA Corporate Affairs initiatives including key performance indicators such as media impressions and engagement metrics developing regular reports to showcase outcomes
Regional Consistency: Support other ongoing activities that need regional coordination and alignment across markets
Your Recipe for Success
1 2 years of experience in Corporate Communications agency or in-house roles. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
A self-starter who approaches everything with drive, urgency, and energy while keeping quality front and center
Excellence in English writing, content creation and presentation skills across platforms
Strong follow-up skills and ability to ensure teams deliver on time
Attention for detail and thoroughness in plans and execution
A nimble learner who can take and act on constructive feedback professionally
Creativity in execution and resourcefulness to efficiently leverage budget and work within a lean team
