Corporate Actions Transactions Manager - 6 Month Contract

• 6 Month Contract position to work on a large change project.
• Immediate Start is available and preferred.
• Corporate Actions knowledge and experience within an investment / asset management environment is essential.
• Salary is up to 8k per month, plus bonus.

The Transaction Operations Team is responsible for the oversight of the end-to-end trade life cycle, corporate action, reconciliation, as well as client and regulatory and works closely with our outsourced service provider to ensure post trade operational compliance, completion, and success.

This role will primarily be looking after the corporate action and proxy voting lifecycle management.

This role has several key responsibilities:

1. Provide oversight and act as the first point of escalation for all matters within Corporate Action Team.
2. Independently manage and resolve issues and escalations by stakeholders, including but not limited to internal teams, outsourced service provider and custodians.
3. Work with outsourced service provider to ensure timely processing of mandatory and voluntary corporate action events across all markets in our investment book of record. This includes gold copy validation and creation, sending of election instruction, event processing and settlement and resolving reconciliation breaks.
4. Work with fund managers and proxy voting service provider on proxy voting submission.
5. Support corporate action and proxy voting related regulatory reporting.
6. Support new transition activities, new instruments/ markets and other ad hoc projects as required.
7. Act as subject matter expert for any projects/ new processes that rely upon or affect new product development.
8. Incident management.
9. Keep abreast of market updates and drive process changes within Transaction Operations Team.
10. Proactive management of risks and controls. Work closely with Transaction Operations lead to ensure an effective control environment robust.
11. Continual review and improvement in workflows, systems and processes through automation, innovation and adoption of new technologies.
