Core Operations Engineer (Linux & Trading Systems)
About the Role
We are seeking a Core Operations Engineer to support and maintain high-performance trading systems within a fast-paced electronic trading environment. This role focuses on solving complex technical issues in Linux-based systems and working closely with traders and exchanges to ensure smooth and reliable trading operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Linux-based trading systems and infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues in real time
- Work closely with traders and exchange teams to ensure reliable trading operations
- Assist with automation of operational workflows and system processes
- Troubleshoot system, network, and application-level issues
- Support trading connectivity with exchanges and external systems
- Contribute to improving system stability, performance, and automation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting trading systems or working in a similar technical operations environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems
- Programming experience in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive environments
- Strong interest in technology, trading systems, and high-performance environments
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Strong academic background
Nice to Have
- Experience working with financial trading systems or financial markets
- Knowledge of SQL and database systems
- Familiarity with automation or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Salt)
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and UDP
- Familiarity with regulatory or exchange environments
