Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market-specific needs across diverse geographies.
  • Develop delivery plans that balance scalability, quality, and efficiency while addressing regional and operational nuances.
  • Ensure compliance with global and regional regulatory requirements, accounting for the complexities of multi-geography delivery.

Cross-Functional and Geographical Coordination

  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning multiple geographies, including onshore and offshore delivery centers, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • Align delivery priorities across regions, ensuring that global objectives integrate effectively with local market requirements.
  • Navigate cultural and operational differences to optimize team synergy and knowledge-sharing across time zones.

Risk and Delivery Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate delivery risks proactively, addressing challenges specific to multi-geography implementations.
  • Monitor milestones, budgets, and dependencies across regions and offshore centers, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Resolve escalations swiftly, minimizing disruptions to delivery timelines and quality outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and sponsors, providing transparent updates on progress and challenges related to the Cross Border Payments implementation.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships onshore and offshore, ensuring delivery commitments are met and integration between Payment modules and the core banking system is optimized.

Continuous Improvement and Scalability

  • Implement scalable and adaptable solutions that meet the needs of diverse markets while leveraging offshore capabilities.
  • Integrate lessons learned into future delivery frameworks, optimizing processes for efficiency and impact across geographies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within cross-regional and offshore teams to enhance delivery outcomes and drive the digitization of cross border payments processes.

Job Requirements


  • Extensive experience leading large-scale, multi-market platform implementations in the banking or financial services sector with a strong focus on Cross Border Payments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage delivery outcomes, including scope, quality, risk, and budget, while balancing competing priorities
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of aligning diverse teams and driving accountability
  • Deep understanding of Payments systems and banking technologies, experience with Finastra preferred
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting delivery progress to senior executives
  • Proficiency in managing culturally diverse teams and navigating complexities of multi-country implementations
