Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Handle a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients
Bake, grill, steam, and deep-fry meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods
Prepare ingredients for menu items and ensure adequate quantities to avoid wastage
Ensure food portions and presentation meet company standards
Maintain freshness of ingredients and final products
Monitor supplies and re-order stock as needed
Pack and label sashimi for service
Maintain a clean and safe work area, including proper handling of utensils, equipment, and dishes
Store ingredients and food at correct temperatures to prevent spoilage
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor, train, and mentor subordinates to ensure quality skills and performance
Welcome and bid farewell to customers in an open-concept restaurant environment
Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Chef

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related F&B role
Willing to learn; training provided for inexperienced candidates
Maintain quality, service excellence, and cleanliness at all times
Practice good personal hygiene
Food hygiene certification is a plus
