Job Summary
As a Executive Cook, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards. You will assist the chefs in maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, and efficient kitchen operations in Halal kitchen & catering concepts
Responsibilities
- Prepare food by following established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards to ensure consistent dish quality maintained
- Assist in preparing, presenting, and storing dishes to maintain freshness and visual appeal and high-end dining experience
- Apply food safety, hygiene, and health regulations during all food preparation activities to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Order and Prepare ingredients, equipment, and materials needed for service to support smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and well-organized work area to uphold kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations by completing assigned tasks efficiently
- Communicate operational issues or guest feedback clearly to supervisors/manager to facilitate timely resolution
- Participate actively in daily briefings, meetings, and training sessions to stay informed and improve skills
- Follow hotel policies and procedures, including health & safety, hygiene, and grooming standards, to maintain a professional kitchen environment
- Assist with other kitchen duties or special tasks as assigned to support team needs when necessary
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess valid food hygiene or food handler certification as required for safe food preparation
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 year of relevant kitchen experience or formal culinary training to perform kitchen duties effectively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment to meet service demands
- Demonstrate teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
- Maintain a positive attitude with a passion for food and hospitality to contribute to a supportive work culture
