We are hiring an experienced and responsible Cook to join our kitchen team at Golden Café Food Court. The role mainly involves preparing wok-fried dishes and seafood cuisine. Applicants should possess good wok-handling and stir-frying skills, and be able to maintain food quality and kitchen efficiency during busy operating periods.
Key Responsibilities:
. Prepare and cook Zi Char and Live Seafood dishes according to company standards
. Perform frying, wok cooking, and food preparation efficiently
. Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
. Assist in food preparation, cutting, marinating, and ingredient handling
. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
. Ensure proper storage and handling of seafood and ingredients
. Support kitchen operations during peak periods
. Follow kitchen safety and food hygiene procedures at all times
. Work closely with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Zi Char and/or Live Seafood cuisine
. Must possess good frying and wok skills
. Comfortable to work in a food court environment
. Responsible, hardworking, and able to work as a team
. Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices
. Physically capable of carrying out kitchen duties in a fast-paced and warm working environment.
Working hours
6-day work week |1 rest day per week (scheduled on weekdays) | Approximately 44 working hours per week, subject to operational requirements | Stable working schedule |Required to work on rotational shifts during weekends and public holidays.
Remuneration
Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and skills.
