The Opportunity: Your Mission
Seeking a dynamic and seasoned Chief Operations Officer/CEO (General Manager) to lead our next phase of explosive growth, primarily driven by strategic mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
This pivotal role requires a leader with deep, hands-on expertise in scaling software agencies or IT outsourcing businesses.
You will be responsible for defining and executing a disruptive strategy focused on remote work platforms, operationalizing our M&A roadmap, and driving a massive leap in organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth & M&A Leadership
Scale Acquired Businesses: Efficiently integrate acquired companies into the existing business model while maintaining cultural integrity. Strategically grow the acquired portfolio from $10 million to over $50 million by identifying new market opportunities and optimizing operations.
Disruptive Innovation: Revamp and innovate traditional business models to create a dominant force in the remote software engineering solutions market, positioning the company as a true industry disrupter.
Market Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to understand emerging trends and define effective strategies for market penetration and expansion into key global territories.
2. Operational & Organizational Excellence
Operational Discipline: Translate overarching strategy into rigorous, actionable steps for growth. Implement organization-wide goal setting, robust performance management, and effective annual operations planning.
Data-Driven Culture: Oversee company operations and productivity by instilling a disciplined, data-driven management culture. Focus on defining, measuring, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring accountability through daily reviews, performance dashboards (e.g., PowerBI data), and clear agreements.
Talent Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead high-performing executive and functional teams. Foster a highly inclusive, accountable culture where team members are empowered to thrive and consistently meet aggressive organizational goals.
3. Financial & Stakeholder Management
Financial Acumen: Oversee all financial aspects, including comprehensive budgeting, accurate forecasting, and strategic financial planning to maximize profitability and capital efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key representative, engaging closely with all stakeholders-including investors, board members, key clients, and partners-to ensure complete alignment on business objectives and long-term strategy.
Client Relationships: Build and maintain deep, trusting relationships with key customers and clients, ensuring high retention and identifying growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior management roles, with significant experience working directly with a CEO or in a President/GM role within software agencies or IT outsourcing businesses.
Industry Expertise: Extensive and current knowledge of the software and IT outsourcing industry, particularly concerning global talent sourcing and remote work dynamics.
M&A Track Record: Proven history of successfully growing businesses and leading the end-to-end integration of acquired entities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM field - STEM field refers to academic disciplines and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. These fields are interconnected and emphasize critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation to drive technological advancement and address real-world challenges or related discipline is required an MBA is strongly preferred.
