Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Portfolio Oversight: Oversee financial reporting and FP&A function for the UK portfolio of assets.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop a financial reporting team in Singapore and manage service providers in UK/Europe.
• Compliance Management: Manage routine compliance exercises, including Group and local statutory audits in Singapore and UK/Europe.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls, supporting a fast-paced and evolving business.
• Reporting: Prepare budgets and forecasts for Board reporting.
• Technical Support: Provide technical accounting support, including accounting for new M&A transactions.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Coach and guide team members and collaborate with other teams (Business Development, Legal) to support business decisions.
• General Support: Undertake any other duties assigned by superiors diligently and professionally.

Business and Strategy Development

• M&A Support: Support real estate acquisition and divestment exercises.
• Global Expansion: Support Group expansion plans including the setup of new structures and overseas finance functions or SOPs.
• General Support: Undertake any other duties assigned by superiors diligently and professionally.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with a professional qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA).
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Background: Experience in Big 4 audit firms and prior exposure to listed companies are required.
• Internal Controls: Proven experience in designing or strengthening internal controls.
• Adaptability: Able to operate at both hands-on and supervisory levels.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
