Design, implement, maintain, and validate safety-critical control systems.
Development, build, installation, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues, collaborating with the software and mechanical engineering team, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Contribute to the testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring reliability and functionality.
Job Knowledge
Knowledge in Control Systems Design, Safety Compliance Documentation, Electrical Engineering Concepts and Applications.
Knowledge in PLC Programming, I/O Addressing and Industry Standard Communication (e.g. modbus, TCP/IP, EtherCAT).
Knowledgeable and proficient in SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD LT. Strong coding skills in C++, C# and Visual Basic.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve issues through effective Troubleshooting.
Experienced in sourcing electrical components and possess strong technical knowledge.
Requirements
Possess Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Engineering or equivalent
Have at least 2-4 years of experience working in Factory Automation/Material Handling and/or Conveyor Systems
At least 2 years of experience in machine programming from scratch
Able to understand electrical diagrams and panel designs
Those with experience in SCADA programming will be highly regarded
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both individually and in a team
Willing to work long hours in Cleanroom environment
Able to travel overseas for last minute projects support (rarely)
