JOB PURPOSE

The Control of Work Supervisor act as Permit to Work(PTW) Coordinator to ensure no conflicting activities that work is safelyexecuted in accordance with GEMS Business Processes & Working Procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Manage Controlof Work

1.1) Promote an effective risk-based safety culture, with afocus on Health, Safety, Well-being, and Sustainability.

1.2) Be a leader in Doing the right thing right with TargetExcellence goals of No Harm, No Defects and No Leaks.

1.3) Coordinate and support the proper implementation of allControl of Work tools at the worksite (ePtW.

1.4) Risk Assessment, Barrier Management, Toolbox Talks,Isolations Philosophy, MoC)

2) Implementationof Management System Control of Work elements

2.1) Collaborate fully with other Discipline Heads &Supervisors on board

2.2) Coordinate the correct implementation of the SBM ePtWsystem, Isolation Standards, Hazard Identification and Task Risk Assessmentprogram, Toolbox Talk standards, Process Safety Barrier Management plan,Management of Change processes.

2.3) Perform Verification and Assurance of implementation ofControl of Work tools and Process Safety Fundamentals

2.4) Coordinate and monitor/verify isolations required on allequipment for intrusive maintenance

3) Management ofPersonnel

3.1) Ensure staff & contractors understand their roles andresponsibilities in all Control of Work management system elements

3.2) Promote training and competency assurance throughout thedepartment in line with Company goals for the Unit.

3.3) Encourage and support all department personnel to achievetraining and competency targets and plan for appropriate time allocation forthis area of work.

3.4) Mentor and manage individual and team performance toincrease standards of performance and compliance in all elements.

3.5) Participate in HSSE related training programs.

3.6) Ensure quality and adhere to the Company PTWsystem for employees and Contractors

3.7) Ensure that appropriate risk assessment and verificationsare applied to minimize risk to personnel, assets and the environment.

4) Emergency Response

4.1) Carry Out Emergency Response role (See Station Bill).

4.2) Demonstrate competence in Emergency Response drills andexercises.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

. Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) / Ordinary NationalDiploma (OND) in appropriate engineering subjects and/or N/SVQ HydrocarbonProcessing Operations Level 3 or local equivalent.

. 5 years experience offshore as Production Supervisor orSafety Officer, or 5 years experience onshore as Production Supervisor or 5years experience as PTWC / CoW Supervisor.

. Knowledge of hydrocarbon processing systems and utilitysystems.

. Good knowledge of Integrated Control & Safety System(ICSS).

. Supervisory experience of Permit to Work, Task RiskAssessment, Process Safety Management, Mechanical / Electrical IsolationStandards and Risk Assessment.

. FPSO experience.

. Proficiency in English at a minimum of B1 level accordingto the CEFR international standard.

. Medically fit according to The Company GEMS InstructionHealth Requirements to Work Offshore
