Job Summary
This role delivers technical and inside sales support, software development, and technical training to meet customer needs. Key duties include programming PLC and HMI, system integration, troubleshooting, and creating documentation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer needs, challenges, and goals related to automation products to tailor solutions effectively
- Design, develop, and implement technical automation solutions that fulfill customer requirements
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support by troubleshooting and resolving product-related issues
- Prepare detailed technical proposals and conduct product demonstrations to support sales efforts
- Create clear technical documentation and develop training materials for customers and internal teams
- Manage projects by planning, executing, and monitoring automation product programming and integration
- Adapt and develop PLC and HMI programs to align with customer specifications and evolving technologies
- Independently analyze and troubleshoot technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Maintain organized and comprehensive documentation while communicating effectively with stakeholders
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Foundation in software development, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering with a strong interest in automation
- Effective communication and project management skills including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Resourcefulness and organizational skills to maintain quality documentation and foster good interpersonal relationships
