Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial tracking across EPCM projects
  • Oversee cost estimating for feasibility studies, tenders, and proposals, including measurement of quantities and preparation of supporting cost breakdowns where required
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure robust and accurate cost estimates
  • Drive end-to-end tender processes, including strategy development, preparation of tender documentation, bid evaluation, clarifications, and award recommendations
  • Manage contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide clear commercial and contractual advice to project teams, management, and clients
  • Review and assess variation orders, claims, and pricing submissions against contract terms and market benchmarks
  • Prepare and review monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and support final account close-out
  • Identify commercial and contractual risks early and recommend practical mitigation measures
  • Support procurement activities including sourcing, evaluation, and engagement of contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure proper contract governance, documentation control, and compliance with Meinhardt standards and ISO procedures
  • Participate in project reviews, client meetings, and commercial discussions as required

Key Attributes

  • Strong background in cost management, quantity surveying, or contract administration within EPCM or infrastructure projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple project workstreams and stakeholders in a delivery-focused environment
  • Commercially strong with good judgment, structured thinking, and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with ability to engage effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Proactive, accountable, and able to take ownership of deliverables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to coordinate across disciplines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced EPCM environment with shifting priorities
