Contract and Commercial Negotiation:
Negotiating contracts with suppliers and contractors to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Providing expert guidance and intervention to resolve major contractual claims and disputes with contractors and suppliers.
Overseeing project budgets, cost control, expenditure, and ensuring costs stay within projected estimates.
Manage correspondence with internal and external teams regarding the timely pricing and agreement of variations, effective handling of contract charges, and early settlement of disputes / claims.
Proactively managing commercial risks, including identification, analysis, and contingency planning. Managing and evaluating commercial changes on projects, ensuring proper documentation and control.
A degree in a relevant discipline such as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or Business.
Experience in the construction industry, with specific experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, or contract administration.
Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, cost management software, and accounting principles.
