Contracts Manager (Building & Infrastructure) - North

Our client is a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor involved in A1 large-scale infrastructure and building projects in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plans, they are looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee contractual, cost, and commercial management across multiple construction projects. They are located in the North - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying (QS) team, overseeing project cost control and commercial performance.

• Establish and implement contract, cost management, and QS operational systems and processes.

• Review and monitor project costing, including inter-project and inter-company cost allocations.

• Handle contractual matters with clients and subcontractors, including negotiations, claims, and settlements.

• Resolve project cost and contractual issues raised by the QS and project teams.

• Oversee project profit and loss performance and ensure contractual compliance across projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction contract management or quantity surveying.

• Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering construction contracts.

• Strong knowledge of construction law, contract administration, and risk management.

• Experience managing QS teams and overseeing project commercial performance.
