NES Fircroft is supporting an established engineering company in the energy and infrastructure sector in the search for an experienced Contracts & Claims Manager to support major engineering and construction projects.

This role will focus on managing project contracts, administering claims, and supporting commercial risk management across complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

. Lead the contract administration and claims management process across engineering and EPC projects.

. Review, interpret and manage contractual obligations, commercial risks, and compliance requirements.

. Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders, claims, and change management documentation.

. Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and legal advisors to mitigate contractual risks and resolve disputes.

. Support the preparation of contractual correspondence, notices, and claims submissions.

. Provide commercial advice during tendering, contract negotiations, and project execution phases.

. Monitor project performance against contract terms and identify potential cost or schedule impacts.

. Maintain proper documentation and ensure all contractual records are accurate and compliant with project requirements.

Requirements

. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related discipline.

. Proven experience in contracts administration and claims management within engineering, energy, or infrastructure projects.

. Strong understanding of EPC contracts and construction contract frameworks.

. Experience managing variation claims, delay claims, and contractual disputes.

. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

. Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

. Experience with FIDIC, EPC, or construction contracts.

. Background in power, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects.

. Experience working with contractors, consultants, and project delivery teams.
