Role Overview:
NES Fircroft is supporting a leading global energy and engineering organisation on the appointment
of a Junior Contract & Claims Management Professional to be based in Singapore.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional with 2-3 years of experience in contract
administration, commercial support, or claims-related activities, looking to build long-term
expertise in contracts and commercial management within large-scale energy projects.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, supporting contract administration,
commercial tracking, and claims preparation across complex EPC/EPCM project environments.
Key Responsibilities
. Support project teams in the administration of contracts, including maintaining contract
registers, obligations, deliverables, milestones, and notifications.
. Assist in the preparation and drafting of contractual correspondence in clear and
professional English.
. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, and Site teams to gather
inputs and documentation.
. Support the analysis of contractual and commercial claims, including fact-finding and
document collation.
. Assist in preparing claims narratives, quantification, and supporting evidence under
guidance from senior commercial staff.
. Maintain commercial trackers covering costs, risks, opportunities, and contractual positions
. Prepare meeting minutes, follow-up actions, and ensure documentation accuracy and
consistency.
. Apply internal contract management standards, templates, and governance controls.
. Support continuous improvement of contract administration and documentation processes.
Qualifications & Experience
. 2-3 years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, or claims-related
roles.
. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
. Exposure to the energy sector (e.g. power generation, oil & gas, EPC/EPCM projects) is
highly preferred.
