Review, draft, issue and negotiate sale and purchase contract for company's trading activities.
Monitor corporate compliance with contract and signatory policies, processes, and procedures.
Review contract documents to protect the company's interests on contractual commitments, balance and optimize risks, gain greater commercial benefits, and ensure the company is protected legally.
Administer contracts and ensure compliance of the same with company's administrative procedures.
Update the direct team leader, Legal on an ad hoc and/ or regular basis on advice being given and matters and issues being addressed and on the progress of contract reviews and negotiations.
Ensure that material legal and commercial issues and material potential risks are elevated to the relevant team for further approval.
Other assigned tasks related to contract management, if any.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law, Business or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3 years of experience in handling trading contracts.
Experience in negotiating or reviewing LNG contracts (e.g., MSPA or SPA) will be regarded as a strong asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word.
Good communication skills.
Able to analyze contract terms and conditions, identify risks and re-draft accordingly.
Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills.
Able to work independent with minimal supervision.
